Natural Capital Accounting Hub

The Natural Capital Accounting Hub is a platform where you can learn about and discuss natural capital accounting.

We use natural capital accounting to identify, value and measure natural capital and help government agencies, and private and public companies to consider nature in their decision making. This work is to ensure sustainable use of our environmental assets.  

The Natural Capital Accounting Hub is managed by the NSW Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water. The hub helps users understand and use natural capital assets including data, accounts, and other resources. 
You can use the hub to: 

• discover real-life natural capital accounts
• gain valuable insights into our natural resources and their economic value
• access and use data and information from natural capital accounting to inform your decision-making or research
• engage with an online community of subject-matter experts and like-minded professionals
• explore available datasets and other resources.
