Prasophyllum sp. 'Moama' - rejection of endangered species listing

The Scientific Committee, established by the Threatened Species Conservation Act, has made a Final Determination to REJECT a proposal to list the orchid Prasophyllum sp. 'Moama' (D.L. Jones 19276), also known as 'Prasophyllum sp. aff. occidentale D', as an ENDANGERED SPECIES in Part 1 of Schedule 1 of the Act. Rejection of a nomination is provided for by Part 2 of the Act.

This determination has been superseded by the 2008 Determination - Critically endangered species listing.

NSW Scientific Committee - final determination

The Scientific Committee has found that this species meets the criteria for listing as a critically endangered species and proposes to make a Preliminary Determination to support a proposal to list Prasophyllum sp. 'Moama' (D.L. Jones 19276) as a critically endangered species in Part 1 of Schedule 1A of the Act.
