A total of 903 individual submissions and 14,551 form letters were received. Submissions were received from individuals and organisations, including from a range of stakeholder groups. All submissions received are valued, have been carefully considered and have helped National Parks and Wildlife Service to better understand the community’s views about the proposals outlined in the draft amendment.

The final amendment to the Kosciuszko National Park Plan of Management was adopted by the Minister for Environment and Heritage on 30 June 2022 after consideration of all submissions received on the draft amendment and advice received from the National Parks and Wildlife Advisory Council and the Southern Ranges Regional Advisory Committee.
