Regional Pest Management Strategy 2012-2017: Far West Region
This strategy describes the key assets and threats from pest animals and weeds and encourages community involvement in the Supplementary Pest Management program.
The strategy lists target pests and control methods prioritised in the region. Pests include feral goats, pigs, foxes, bitou bush and prickly pear.
Pest management achievements include the reduction in numbers of pigs, goats, wild dogs and foxes across reserves and recovery programs for native plant species, including the Curly bark wattle.
