Application to be registered as a rehomer for the Barrington Tops National Park Feral Horse Domestication (rehoming) Program

You must read the Domestication (rehoming) guidelines before completing your application.

To complete the application you must provide information that includes:

  • Proof of ownership of the property where the horses are to be transported to and housed or signed authority to house the animals on the property nominated if you do not own the property.
  • Photographs of the property where the animals are to be held (including yarding and paddocking facilities, fencing and pasture) and truck/trailer to be used to transport the animals.
  • A written reference (current within 3 months) from a registered veterinary practitioner indicating your experience in caring for horses.
  • Sufficient information to demonstrate you have the skills and experience necessary to train and handle unbroken (unstarted) horses.
  • Proof of identification (e.g. drivers' licence or NSW Photo Card).

NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service will not process incomplete applications.
