The total quota available for allocation in 2023 is 1,850,228 kangaroos. There is also a maximum special quota of 178,233 that may be made available in specific circumstances.
Note: a correction has been made to Table 7. The 'Threshold 1' figures, for both grey kangaroos and red kangaroos, were inadvertently displayed as 'Threshold 2' figures, and vice versa. The table has now been corrected. This error has had no material effect on the quota calculations or allocations.
