Access to property through a national park inquiry form

This form is for you to inquire about access to your property on a road or trail through a national park or other reserve managed by the NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service.

This form will enable National Parks and Wildlife Service to quickly assess whether a formal application for access to your property is possible.

Note: this form is not a formal application for access to privately owned land.

What you must do first

Before you complete this form, you must:

  • contact your local NPWS Office and discuss your access needs
  • read the Property Access Policy
  • check what maps and other evidence may be required, e.g. map of property and access route, evidence of or copies of existing permissions.

What will we do?

We will review the information provided and discuss the next steps with you, including whether you can submit a formal application.

As part of that discussion, we may request additional information.

The information you provide in this form will only be used for the purpose for which it was collected. By submitting, you consent to storage, use, and disclosure of your personal information in accordance with our privacy policy. You can request access and amendment of your personal information.
