Environmental heritage refers to places, buildings, works, relics, moveable objects and precincts that are significant for the people of New South Wales.

 

Our rich heritage represents many historical themes including Aboriginal, convict, migration, regional development, industry, architecture, creative arts, LGBTQI+ and much more. 

The heritage we protect and celebrate takes many forms, including:

  • moveable 
  • natural 
  • cultural landscapes 
  • intangible.
