In this series of catchment studies the hydrological efficiency of the main soil and vegetation types in the Australian Alps is being evaluated. Earlier papers described trends in soils and vegetation, surface run-off and soil loss characteristics, accumulation and persistence of snow, and interception of rain, cloud, and fog.
