Apply for a biodiversity stewardship agreement

A biodiversity stewardship agreement generates biodiversity credits that can be sold to fund ecological restoration and the management of weeds, pests, and fire.

The application form, templates and information resources needed for a biodiversity stewardship agreement (BSA) application are on this webpage.

Application forms can be completed electronically (including signatures) or printed out. All landholders need to sign the form.

Your completed application form (electronic or scanned hard copy) should be uploaded via the Biodiversity Offsets and Agreement Management System (BOAMS).

Mandatory BSSAR and management plan templates

Applications will be processed more efficiently when the templates are used and completed correctly. Failure to use the templates or provide sufficient information may result in otherwise avoidable delays.
