The approximately 400 metres long new multi-use track will improve access to the park for neighbours and the broader community. It will better connect adjacent urban areas on the park’s northern boundary with popular visitor destinations in the park including Bonville Creek and Bongil day use area.

The amendment also makes several minor corrections to identify the walking track at Bluff Trail (the Bluff Loop Track) which was previously omitted from the plan of management in error.

This amendment was adopted by the Minister for the Environment on 23 September 2024.

A map is included within the amendment. A more detailed map is also available (PDF 1.9MB).

The Bongil Bongil National Park Plan of Management (2024) has been updated to include this amendment.
