This report examines whether nationally derived IFDs are reflective of local issues in several areas of New South Wales where there are enhanced orographic affects. It discusses the use of modified approaches in the Coffs Harbour and Wollongong areas. Alternative IFD data for the Wollongong area as part of this study is available through the NSW Flood Data Portal.
