Introducing a risk based tool for determining native species regulation

The over-arching objective of the risk-based approach is to provide a robust and transparent framework for decision making regarding the level of regulatory protection required for native species that are intended to be privately kept in New South Wales. The outcome will determine whether a species should be licensed or subject to a code.
