Coffs Harbour Northern Beaches community invited to national park reserves information session
The NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service (NPWS) invites the Northern Beaches community of Coffs Harbour to an information session regarding management of the region’s national park reserves.
The session will be held from 4.30 to 6.30 pm on Friday 22 November 2024 at the Wiigulga Sports Complex, Solitary Islands Way, Woolgoolga.
The park reserves that will be discussed during the information session include Coffs Coast Regional Park, which extends along a 27-km stretch of coastline and includes popular areas for public recreation and conservation, as well as Moonee Beach Nature Reserve, and Garby Nature Reserve.
These reserves play an essential role in the region’s coastal environment and community life, offering access to beaches, recreational facilities, and crucial habitats for coastal wildlife.
The information session will also include time for facilitated questions and answers.
To assist with logistics and catering, NPWS encourages people who wish to attend to register with the NPWS Coffs Coast Area Office and submit questions or topics of interest in advance by email.
