What is the proposed licence?
We propose to grant Hunter Anzac Memorial Limited ACN 623 275 196 a licence of the premises known as Long Tan Place House, which is located near the corner of Long Tan Place and Scheyville Road within Scheyville National Park.
The proposed licence area is depicted in the image below, and includes Long Tan Place House and the surrounding yard area.
Hunter Anzac Memorial Limited have an existing licence over some of the buildings and outdoor areas within Scheyville Camp precinct. The existing licence provides for the operation of a public museum with exhibits showing the multilayered history of the park, a military vehicle restoration society, military members shed and community activities. The proposed licence would enable Hunter Anzac Memorial Limited to undertake work to refurbish Long Tan Place House before use as an office and/or caretaker accommodation to support operations under its existing licence.
The proposed licence is for an initial term of 10 years with 2 options to extend for 5 years, totalling a potential 20-year term.
