There are fees and administration costs in connection with the Biodiversity Offsets Scheme set out in the Biodiversity Conservation Regulation 2017 (NSW).
Fees are updated annually on 1 July, in line with the Consumer Price Index (CPI).

Fees for the transfer or retirement of biodiversity credits are paid after an application is made to the department. There are instructions for fee payment within the application and invoice.
