We respectfully engage with communities, culture and Country to help protect our native plants, animals, landscapes, heritage and social values.
We want to work together for mutual benefit of the environment and our communities. Through this work we:
- embed Aboriginal knowledge in our research and science
- help protect and preserve cultural values in the landscape
- collaboratively care for Country and engage with communities to help protect the natural environment
- better protect, support and enable adaptation of communities
- facilitate the integration of cultural and scientific methods in our practice and approach
- share ideas, knowledge and experience to benefit communities and the environment
- better understand community behaviour, attitudes and concerns to support the design of policies and regulations.
